ABC for Life is known for its great passion by mentoring teachers and teaching and providing specialized learning materials tailor-made to address specific areas of difficulty.

Schools in disadvantaged communities struggle to pay individual attention to a child who arrives without fluency in the language of instruction or basic grounding in literacy and numeracy. Due to these schools already being overstretched with little support these children are often pushed through to the next grade without mastering the basic skills required for their grade and end up falling further behind.
